Book Launch at Irish Architectural Archive
We are delighted to announce the official publication of “TOWNLEY HALL, Francis Johnston’s Neo-Classical Masterpiece“. Commissioned by the School of Philosophy & Economic Science and published by Gandon Editions, the book celebrates one of Ireland’s finest houses, built between 1794 and 1798 for Blaney Townley Balfour III to designs by architect Francis Johnston.
The book was officially launched last week by Dr. EDWARD McPARLAND and ROBERT O’BYRNE at the Irish Architectural Archive and is now available from good bookshops and direct from Gandon Editions.
