This end-of-terrace house, in Kilmainham, was refurbished and extended to orient the house towards the garden at ground level and take advantage of views to the Grand Canal and Dublin Mountains from the first-floor bedrooms. The timber frame extension, supported on a light steel frame, is clad in cedar complementing the existing brick.
