The AAI + ILI are having a joint site visit to Hunting Brook Gardens, Blessington, Co.Wicklow on Sunday, 28th of September at 2pm.
Hunting Brook consists of five acres of botanical herbaceous gardens and fifteen acres of woodland gardens and valley. The contemporary gardens were created by Jimi Blake over the last twelve years. Blake trained in the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin as a horticulturist and was subsequently appointed Head Gardener at Airfield House where restored the large Victorian garden to its former glory. The site also includes a Bronze Age ring fort and standing stone.
